This list of germ hot spots around your home can become mini-microbe hotels if not cleaned regularly. Spoiler: they’re not always where you think. 

1. Kitchen Sponge

2. Kitchen Sink
Clean with a disinfectant at least once a day

3. Cutting Boards
Sanitize after each use – especially after using for meat (diluted white vinegar is good for this)

Fridge, oven, microwave, cabinet pulls, faucet handles and switches should be wiped with a disinfectant daily

Don’t allow damp items to sit for longer than one day
