What are the materials in the sponge?

Skura Style sponges are a combination of a foam base that is highly absorbent with excellent wipe-dry performance, a premium non-abrasive coating for scouring, and an antimicrobial agent in the foam and scouring coating that inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew.

What does the antimicrobial agent do?

The antimicrobial agent that is built into sponge and scrubber during manufacturing provides product protection against the growth of odor-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew. So Skura Style sponges don't smell.

How does the Fade-to-Change® technology work?

When the monogram fades, it’s telling you it’s time to change your sponge. Depending on the frequency of use, the printed Skura Style monogram will fade usually within one to two weeks. Leading microbiologists recommend changing your sponge every one to two weeks.

Are the scouring pads safe for all surfaces?

The VERY SKRUBBY Heavy-Duty Scouring Pads are not recommended for non-stick cookware, stainless steel appliances, fine crystal, and china. They are not for aquarium use.

Will VERY SKRUBBY pads smell?

They are treated with an antimicrobial agent that inhibits the growth of odor causing bacteria, mold and mildew so they don’t smell. 

How long do the scouring pads last?

How does CLOTH ENVY work?

When you remove from package, wet them and wring out excess water. Use them for wiping surfaces and cleaning up spills. Rinse them after use. 

Where should I avoid using them? 

Avoid using on sharp items or grates, as this can damage the cloth.

How do you care for CLOTH ENVY?

After many uses of it, wash in the washing machine or dishwasher (top rack). Do not put them in the dryer, as the heat can damage them. Air dry them after washing.

Is CLOTH ENVY sustainable?

Yes. When it is no longer useful for your cleaning, it can be composted.
